The work of the Duquesa Charitable Society of Saint George was recognised at this year’s II Premios Manilva, at which local individuals, businesses, and associations are rewarded for their contribution to the municipality of Manilva.
Presented by the local authorities, the Charity was awarded the ‘Manilva Solidarity’ award for its work in the community.
At the same ceremony Fina Gómez, Rafalux and the relatives of Antonio Mata also received their well-deserved awards.
At the ceremony to receive the award from the Mayor of Manilva, were members of the committee along with dozens of volunteers, without whom the charity would be unable to do the work that it does.
