Hundreds of people flocked to Duquesa’s Rambla del Mediterraneo to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with an afternoon and evening of music and entertainment at the Party in the Square, with music by Rocking Johnny.
The event also took the opportunity to celebrate the memory of Chris Hoare, who passed away earlier this year.
The event was organised by local businesses, including: JJ’s Fish & Chips, Laundry, Morgan Hair, Duquesa Properties, The Bar, Don Cordero, Ryders, Chapter 2, The Cork Tree, Fogo, Lazy Monkey, Sabor Toscano, Fiona Callander of Road Runners & Lin Russell, in collaboration with the Manilva Tourism Department, headed by Councillor Eva Galindo.
The event also raised 1122.12 euros for the Saint George Charity.
